Workspace Search

Search is easier to use and better at finding what you mean in large workspaces. Filters are now closer to the search controls, show when active, and can limit results to a specific folder.

• Multi-word searches now match notes containing all terms, not just exact strings.
• Quoted phrases still search as exact phrases.

Inbox

• Untitled captures now show a useful first-line/content fallback in the Inbox list and note sheet instead of falling back to No title too early.
• Fixed inbox_number duplication issue.
• Improved inbox search and load performance.
• Snoozed items are pushed to the bottom when sorted by Priority.

Improvements

• File tree searches for notes, properties, tags, templates, and views now include a clear x button and clear on Escape when text is present.
• The attachments popover now uses the shared search field, cleaner Media / Files tabs, an Unused toggle with count, and a direct Delete unused action.
• The property panel now places Add property below the property rows.
• Nested list guide lines in the editor now align more consistently irrespective of bullet/screen length.
• Writing Assistant now retains the last viewed chat, so reopening the sidebar lands you there instead of a fresh chat.

Fixes

• Fixed Quick Capture dismissal on macOS so closing or submitting the capture window deactivates Octarine instead of bringing another Octarine window to the front.
• Fixed Quick Capture and Inbox tag/priority tooltips so they do not appear while their popovers are open.
• Fixed editor and read-only preview themes updating when the system appearance changes between light and dark mode.
• Fixed the tray icon not respecting the toolbar colorscheme on lighter wallpapers.
