Wall of Love
Been using Octarine as my daily driver for the past few days and I'm impressed. Seriously considering jumping from Noteplan.
Oh my god it is perfect! Thank you so much!! I love how it renders the diagram under the definition instead of replacing it, perfect!! You have a user for life!
Started using Octarine a few days ago and it is such a beautiful app. Everything is just right — not too much, not too little.
Octarine looks FRESH! I've tried a lot of note taking apps. Got a good feeling about this one 🔥
Just downloaded the free version - the first PKM that I am already blown away by! Cannot wait for all of the features in the roadmap!
heyyy thx a lot of this great app! currently using it from the same dir as my obsidian notes and it works flawlessly!
I just want to say, amazing project. I love Octarine, thanks for making it.
Hey, i came here to say this implementation of an obsidian type note management app is CRAZY GOOD. Damn.
For anyone considering trying Octarine… I don't regret spending the $50 in the slightest. Really… $60 is a total deal too.
Awesome new experience. Loving it. Nice work! I am using the app daily as my go-to note app
Who knows, maybe some day its called OFM (octarine flavoured markdown). Thank you for continously improving octarine!
After testing upwards of 75+ apps, I settled on Octarine. From my personal needs matrix, Octarine was the only app that checked all my boxes aside from missing iOS apps. I love this app!
I really like Octarine's purpose of having all of its features built-in. A lot of Octarine is much like how I've set up Obsidian-- except I didn't scramble for extensions that depend on each other to work
Been an early adopter of Octarine and have used it daily ever since. Octarine is a delight to use! Lightweight, beautiful, highly performant!
Great self contained without plugins alternative to Obsidian
I rely on the Octarine app every day. I use it to jot down my daily plans, sprint plans, and project checklists before I start working. Having a tool that's so easy and intuitive to use really reduces a lot of friction in my workflow. This is truly the next generation of note-taking for developers.
Delicious to type on, gets me into an easy flow. It's my favourite new PKM/ notebook. Gorgeous design feels so smooth.
Octarine is so much better than Obsidian. With Obsidian I have to install multiple community-maintained plugins just to get basic features like text colors and highlights, but with Octarine its built in, definitely worth upgrading to the pro license as well.
Stumbled into Octarine today. Excellent first impression! I'm an outliner, not a markdown guy, but appreciate the aesthetics and the app so far! Nice work!
Octarine is my new favorite daily planner, knowledge base, and journal. Everything works intuitively right out of the box, so I can spend my time writing instead of worrying about creating some theoretical perfect setup.
I love so much about this. This is everything you need and nothing you don't.
Haven't really sticked to any note taking software completely and is working on hundreds of plain text notes. Really like the simplicity without the need to worrying about plugins (esp. taking care versions separately) and the user interface is clean and neat. Keep it up and look forward to new features.
I like what I see. I can use it right away without having to learn how to use it. It's not overly complicated, it's fast, and it's rich in features.
I found it via Reddit post that was listing Black Friday sales. Someone asked about your app. After a few hours on the free version I didn't need a sale. Amazing app and so rare to see one time purchase software these days. So kudos to you!
Great, lightweight note and activity tracking app. I use it daily to keep track of my todo list (which I can important incomplete tasks from prior days) and as a PKM. Very snappy, too.
Excellent application. I love that it's local and has everything integrated, without the need to install dozens of plugins just to make it work. Personalization is simple and practical: it's not complicated, and you can easily configure it without having to write CSS code directly in the app. This tool gets straight to the point—it's designed for writing notes, not for turning system management into a second job.
Refreshing take on a notes app, i was surprised how light weight it is. Does the job well without the need for plugins which i find useful.
I've switched between note taking apps over the years, but this strikes the exact balance that I've been looking for: opinionated, clean design aesthetic, and native functionality for everything I need. Love it!
A great note-taking app with a clean, clutter-free UX. It makes it really easy for me to track things, stay organized, and find what I need quickly.
