The app has achieved a significant milestone, and the Pro License is now available at Early Access pricing. This introduces new features, additional themes, and customizations that are currently available and more will be added soon!
Ask Assistant (Pro)
Ask Assistant is Octarine’s version of integrating AI to help you write better!

Access Ask Assistant by either:
- Select any text and click the
sparkle star
button (far right) to open the Assistant dialog to work with the selected text as context. - Select any text and press
Cmd/Ctrl + J
to open the assistant to work with the selected text as context - Press
Cmd/Ctrl + J
without selecting any text to open the assistant to work with no context
- Select any text and click the

Default options are provided to rewrite selected text, along with an Input box to write your own prompt.

Post Regeneration, you can either:
Esc
— to discard the response.R
— to regenerate the response with the same prompt.C
— to copy the response.Cmd/Ctrl + Enter
— to insert the response into the editor.

Supports

models for now. Requires an OpenAI API Key to be used. Setup your API key inSettings → AI

Improvements
- Changed the background color for dropdown menus and context menus.
- Font selection in settings now renders the font in the dropdown for a quick preview.
- Theme options (in settings dropdown and
CMDK
bar) have a small chip showing a quick preview of the theme color pallette against them. - Removed the slight red bar visible in the task pie chart when

tasks are completed.
