Tasks support with projects, improved note management, Ask Octarine enhancements, bug fixes.
Tasks & Projects
Octarine now has first class support for Tasks — a project-first way to plan work right next to your notes. Group tasks into projects, work in a list or on a board, break tasks into subtasks, plan with cycles, and narrow everything down with saved filters.
- Open Tasks from the sidebar, or find any task from the command bar's new Tasks tab.
- Turn a checkbox in a note into a task with
Convert to Task, and link to tasks and projects from any note with[[. - Ask Octarine can use the open task or project as context and work with your tasks for you.
- The CLI gains
task,projectandcyclecommands.
There's a lot more to it — read the Tasks guide for projects, cycles, the search syntax and task settings.
Improvements
- Notes can now be kept at the top of their folder, above subfolders and regardless of the folder's sort, using Keep at top in the file tree context menu or the command palette.
- Opening a View now shows its details in the right sidebar, including its note count, an editable description, recently updated notes, and its layout, grouping and sort.
- Ask Octarine answers now show connected sources as chips instead of raw IDs.
- Ask Octarine's header controls were refined, with a new
Show chat asmenu. - Chat prompts have a little more line height, and numbered lists in replies keep their numbers visible.

CMD/Ctrl + D. - Fixed collapsed headings expanding again when a note is reopened.
